Subdivision two was highlighted by the participation of gymnastics powerhouse the United States. It was Americans Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin, with overall point totals of 62.725 and 62.375, respectively, who took first and second places from China's Yang Yilin (62.350) and Jiang Yuyuan (60.625).
