I was also very impressed by the opening games. It takes a lot more than great architecture, a lot of money, and amazing fireworks to make a truly moving Opening Ceremony. I watched the Opening event with great joy, admiration, and respect for all involved. I agree that China proved to be a great host for the Games. China also showed the world their fantastic creativity and point of view. The message of "One World, One Dream" was beautifully expressed, especially with the emphasis on children and the environment. I feel sorry for London. They will have a very difficult time trying to follow the precedent China set in 2008!
