Can games be art? Recently, Bioshock won the BAFTA awards. My friends are playing this game and actually I came to the conclusion that good games imply many things. A good script, great graphics, lights and music.

I think game is an unclassified sort of art. It's a creative combination of many classic art forms.  Let's take Castlevania ~ Dracula X~ for example,which is my favorite and also one of best games on sony playstation. The game itself is based on the famous novel Dracula by Bram Stoker.  And all the design of the scenes and BGM match perfectly with Baroque style. The player may enjoy the sculptures, paintings and music together with the excitement of fighting in the process of discovering a fantastic story little by little.

Thus,an ideal game is not just about beating the rivals and evils but also a wonderful romantic experience of learning and discovering which is, of course, highly enjoyable to most of us.
